BrainSell Acquires Chicago’s NCG Act! Software Division
We are proud to announce our enhanced presence in the Chicago software market by acquiring the Act! CRM and related services division from Northbrook Consulting Group of Glencoe, Illinois.
This is our third acquisition this year. With NCG, we can provide a more centralized Chicago CRM service. NCG’s clients will be able to team up with our existing CRM consultants in the Chicago area, Brad Wieringa and Doug Evenhouse. In return, our clients will benefit from NCG’s years of experience as a Chicago-area software reseller.

NCG recognized Act! CRM software’s potential for companies in the Chicago market. We’ve been investing our time with Act! in other parts of the country and have a bench of Act! certified consultants. We are able to provide the existing Act! market long-term software support.
“In a continued effort to acquire companies with bright individuals and long standing integrity, we are pleased to expand our presence in the Chicago market,” said Jim Ward, president and CEO of BrainSell. “We’re also excited to offer clients business services in areas like accounting and ERP, marketing automation and inbound marketing services, and CRM services across the board.”
As part of our suite of services, we’re providing additional services apart from CRM consulting and implementation. We will continue to develop our ERP software presence in Chicago market through Sage and Quickbooks software. BrainSell also implements tools to help businesses succeed past CRM with automation software. We’ve partnered with HubSpot, Net-Results and more to drive success through automation platforms.
