SugarCRM vs Infor CRM (SalesLogix) Comparison

Versus Infor CRM (formerly SalesLogix), SugarCRM has been an independent product it’s whole life. The recent purchase of SalesLogix by Infor CRM has given entirely new life to SalesLogix as a CRM platform. Infor CRM at one point was even owned by Sage, and back then the platform left much to be desired.  SugarCRM on the other hand has taken a very different path, consistantly placing itself as a highly integration-friendly, cloud-based CRM. Unlike SugarCRM, Infor is also routinely deployed on-premise. Sugar can be deployed on-premise, but at a far lower rate compared to Infor. Both CRM systems serve as great content management pieces, and Sugar and Infor both have top-flight integration to Microsoft Outlook. Dollar-for-dollar, Infor is actually a bit cheaper than SugarCRM, but they are comparably priced.
