Marketing Automation Platform Comparison 2015
Marketing automation platforms in 2015 are far more sophisticated compared to when advanced marketing tools first came out (about ten years ago). Marketing platforms in the B2B and B2C space are pushing the limits of customer interactions and lead generation. We’re partners with many marketing automation companies, and we’re used to helping companies find the perfect platform. As such, we created a list of the most popular marketing automation tools available in 2015. For a full platform comparison, download our marketing automation comparison guide fresh for Summer 2015.
2015’s Best Marketing Automation Tools List:
1. Act-On –
Act-On has been the fastest growing marketing automation platform in 2012, 2013 and 2014. It continues to grow at a torrid pace and is rapidly becoming one of our favorite tools to work with and recommend for our customers. Act-On is one of the most stable, flexible and innovative automation platforms out there. It is not an all-in-one platform like HubSpot, but rather a natural extension that works in conjunction with your existing CRM and CMS platforms.
2. HubSpot –
HubSpot has a serious cult following and has developed its platform significantly since it’s launch almost ten years ago. HubSpot works best when you host and migrate your full site to their platform. HubSpot provides some serious all-in-one inbound and prospecting tools that allow even novice marketers to create advanced lead generation pipelines. You can even download our Act-On vs. Pardot vs. HubSpot guide for more specific comparison information.
3. Marketo –
Marketo is one of the best marketing automation platforms on this list. It is also one of the highest-cost tools available. Marketo has all the major feature sets you would expect from an enterprise-level platform. Marketo integrates well with most CRM platforms and is highly customizable / adaptable. You will need a qualified marketier to run Marketo, as it’s feature set is so diverse you need a technically qualified person to dig out all the available ROI-generating features.
4. Net-Results –
You might not have heard of Net-Results until you read this list, but you really should check it out. If you have more than 10,000 marketing contacts and a tight budget, we guarantee you will not find a better tool with more value for your marketing than Net-Results. Net-Results provides almost all of the tools and features the more expensive platforms have, but at a fraction of the cost. Net-Results also holds tight integration capabilities with Salesforce and SugarCRM.
5. Pardot –
Pardot is popular among Salesforce users because it is owned and pushed by Salesforce. Pardot is very feature-rich, but is also very expensive. Pardot often gets bundled together in a Salesforce implementation. Although highly powerful, in 2015 Pardot seems to be losing steam compared to some of the other platforms on this list. Pardot’s integration with Salesforce keeps in in favor among many sales and marketing teams, regardless of functionality.
6. Salesfusion –
Salesfusion is the absolute best integration for Infor CRM, which is one of the biggest reasons we love this platform. Salesfusion is also a good value compared to the rest of the tools on this list. As a marketing platform, Salesfusion is slightly harder to use than Act-On or HubSpot, but when operated correctly can still provide all the tools modern marketing automation platforms should. Salesfusion is the smallest company on this list, but doesn’t lack in features.
